We realized that one summer when we had to move all of our furniture across town without a truck. After crowdsourcing help for our move through our friends and renting a van from a local company, transporting the furniture seemed like nothing compared to actually getting it into a third floor walk-up apartment during a heat wave. We thought there was no way it could be more miserable, but then we did it again next summer, and again and again…for the next 6 years.
We’re three roommates who recognized that living in a city like New York and migrating from one apartment to the next was inherently nomadic. We wanted to make it easier for people to adapt to their new home without having to worry about the logistics of how they were going to get their things there.
Peregrine was our answer to all of these problems. It allows you to migrate without being weighed down by your belongings. This makes it easier to for you to create your own nest, no matter where you go.
